Current VPC status level - YELLOW : England only (VPC schemes in Wales must follow the guidelines issued by the Welsh government). Camping/Residential activity is now permitted - however they are subject to Conditions. (Outlined below and are a legal requirement) The status is expected to remain until the 19th July 2021 (All COVID roadmap steps are subject to confirmation and change)
VPC to Special Constabulary - taster event success25/05/2021
On May 19th , over 100 cadets and adult cadet leaders came together virtually to find out all about the Special Constabulary and opportunities that may be open to them post-18yrs , to continue their policing family volunteering.

'Phone Down - Look Around' : A road safety video by Northumbria Police Cadets27/04/2021
Northumbria Police Cadets took part in a road safety initiative relating to drink/drug driving aimed at under 25 years, delivered by NE Youth charity. The road safety sessions were in collaboration and funded by UPS delivery company UK. UPS offered to all youths groups who took part in the training sessions to apply, funding to create a social action project relating to road safety which could be shared with other youth groups.
