The Volunteer Police Cadet scheme is the uniformed youth group of the police service. Each police force in England & Wales operates a scheme offering young people  aged 13-18 years old (some schemes start at 11yrs) from diverse backgrounds the opportunity to -

  • Make new friendships
  • Take part in fun and exciting activities
  • Support their own community through volunteering and social action projects
  • Challenge themselves to learn and develop new skills
  • Gain an insight into British policing

We are looking for new adult leaders (18+) who can volunteer a few hours a week to help support police forces to deliver their schemes. You don't need any policing experience, just enthusiasm to work with young people and a willingness to inspire.
